Mission

The Department of Justice is responsible for protecting fairness, legal order, and due process within Cross State Line RP.

DOJ members review legal matters, support court processes, provide legal representation where applicable, and help ensure that the Penal Code is applied consistently.

The department exists to create structured legal roleplay while keeping cases fair, realistic, and enjoyable for all involved.

Requirements

  • Must be a trusted member of the CSLRP community
  • Strong understanding of the Penal Code and server rules
  • Ability to remain neutral and professional
  • Good communication and reasoning skills
  • Must be able to separate in-character legal roleplay from out-of-character opinions
  • Previous legal roleplay experience is helpful, but not required

DOJ members are expected to act with fairness, patience, and integrity at all times.

The Department of Justice handles the legal side of roleplay within CSLRP.

This may include lawyers, prosecutors, judges, legal review, court hearings, appeals, warrants, and disputes involving arrests or charges.

DOJ does not exist to block police roleplay or overcomplicate scenes. Its purpose is to add depth, fairness, and accountability where legal roleplay is needed.

Not every case requires DOJ involvement. Minor incidents may be handled directly by law enforcement, while serious or disputed matters may be reviewed through the legal process.

All DOJ members are expected to act in good faith and support the overall quality of roleplay.
