Community Platform Improvements – Suggestions, Applications & Permissions

Several improvements have been pushed to the CSLRP community platform, including better suggestion management, improved permissions, application interview phases, and server status access control.

Community Platform Improvements – Suggestions, Applications & Permissions

As part of our ongoing work to improve the CSLRP community platform, several new improvements and fixes have been pushed through.

These changes are mostly focused on making the website easier to manage, improving staff workflows, and giving the community a smoother experience when using systems such as suggestions, applications, and status pages.

Suggestions System Improvements

The suggestions system has received several improvements.

Suggestions can now be managed with more flexibility, including better category support and improved workflows. This makes it easier for staff to organize community ideas and keep track of what is being reviewed, approved, or worked on.

More categories can now be added to suggestions, allowing us to better separate different types of feedback and ideas.

This is especially useful as CSLRP continues development, because player feedback and suggestions will play an important role in shaping future systems.

Application Improvements

Applications have also received improvements.

One of the new additions is support for an Interview Phase during the application process. This means applications no longer have to be either immediately accepted or denied.

Instead, staff can move applicants into an interview stage when more discussion or review is needed.

This gives departments and staff more flexibility when handling applications and helps create a better recruitment process overall.

Permission & Staff Workflow Fixes

Several permission-related issues have also been resolved.

These fixes help ensure that staff members only see and access the areas they are supposed to manage. This improves security, reduces confusion, and makes the system easier to use across linked servers and departments.

There are also improvements to how staff permissions work with server status components, allowing better control over who can manage certain status-related features.

Role Ping Improvements

Application-related role pings have also been improved.

Instead of allowing any role to be pinged, applications can now be limited to specific mapped roles. This prevents accidental or incorrect role pings and helps keep notifications cleaner and more controlled.

Server Status Changes

Due to changes on CFX’s side, the FiveM server status API feature has been removed from the system for now.

CSLRP will continue using our own status systems to keep the community informed about outages, maintenance, and service availability.

You can still follow service status updates through our status pages:

Why This Matters

While this is not a large gameplay update, these platform improvements are important for the future of CSLRP.

A better community platform means:

  • Easier suggestion management
  • Cleaner application handling
  • Better staff workflows
  • Improved permissions
  • More reliable communication
  • Better organization for future development

These changes help us build a stronger foundation for the community while development on the server continues.

Looking Ahead

More website and community platform improvements will continue to be added over time.

As always, if you notice any issues or unexpected behavior, please report it through the support system so we can look into it.

Thank you for continuing to support Cross State Line RP.
