All main CSLRP departments are expected to be available during the possible open beta.
This would allow department members to begin training, learn the server systems and help test the equipment and procedures that will be used after the official opening.
Departments Available During Testing
The departments expected to be active include:
- Unified Police Department
- Unified Emergency Response
- Department of Transportation
Players would be able to begin their department training during the testing period.
Although normal character and economic progression would be wiped after the beta, completed department training is expected to remain valid.
This allows departments to prepare for the official opening without requiring members to repeat their full training afterwards.
Management Positions Available
CSLRP is currently looking for additional people interested in department management positions.
Management members are particularly needed within:
- UPD
- UER
- DOT
Department management members will help:
- Organise training
- Support new recruits
- Develop procedures
- Coordinate with the staff team
- Prepare their department for release
- Assist with testing department systems
Previous leadership experience may be useful, but reliability, communication and a willingness to learn are equally important.
New Members Are Always Welcome
CSLRP remains open to new people interested in contributing to the community.
This includes:
- Roleplayers
- Department members
- Management candidates
- Testers
- Developers
- Content creators
- Community contributors
The project is still growing, and people with different levels of experience are welcome.
A Small Team Making Significant Progress
The current CSLRP team consists of approximately four people.
Despite the relatively small team, development has continued at a strong pace.
One developer alone has completed more than 100 Git commits during the past few weeks.
These commits include:
- New gameplay systems
- Script integrations
- Configuration changes
- Bug fixes
- Performance improvements
- Database changes
- Improvements to existing features
A Git commit does not always represent a major visible feature, but together they demonstrate the amount of work taking place behind the scenes.
Thank You to the Team
The continued progress of CSLRP would not be possible without the entire team.
Development is only one part of preparing the server. Department planning, testing, infrastructure management, community support and feedback are all equally important.
Every team member contributes their time voluntarily while balancing responsibilities outside the project.
As CSLRP moves closer to a possible open beta and official opening, we would like to thank everyone who continues to contribute to the project.
