Development of Cross State Line RP has now reached an estimated 85% completion.
Most of the server’s major foundations are already in place. The development team is now gradually moving away from building entirely new systems and focusing more heavily on configuration, integrations, testing and optimisation.
Although approximately 15% of the work remains, the final stage is one of the most important parts of development. Every system must not only function individually, but also work correctly alongside the rest of the server.
Ambulance Job Ready for Testing
One of the latest major milestones is the completion of the new ambulance job.
The main development work has been completed, meaning the system is now ready to enter its testing phase. The team will examine how it performs during actual roleplay, how it connects with the medical and hospital systems and whether any problems appear when multiple players use it simultaneously.
The ambulance job is expected to be available during a possible open beta, allowing future Unified Emergency Response members to begin learning and testing the system.
Remaining Development Work
The current development board still includes work involving:
- Phone and tablet systems
- Police and emergency-service equipment
- Medical and hospital systems
- Banking and financial features
- Mechanics and vehicle maintenance
- Department tools
- Dispatch systems
- Licences and certifications
- Territory systems
- General gameplay integrations
Many of these systems are already installed or partially operational. The remaining work mainly involves configuration, testing and ensuring that everything works correctly together.
A feature is not considered finished simply because it starts without errors. It must also be stable, properly integrated and enjoyable during actual gameplay.
CSLRP is continuing to move steadily towards its next major phase.
