The CSLRP team is currently discussing the possibility of organising a temporary open beta before the official server opening.
The beta has not yet been officially confirmed. It remains an option that will be discussed internally after the current testing and optimisation work has progressed further.
Should the beta be approved, it would allow the wider CSLRP community to test the complete server under realistic conditions.
Who Would Be Able to Participate?
Under the current proposal, everyone inside the official CSLRP Discord community would be able to participate.
There would not be a limited application process or a small group of selected testers. Discord members would be able to join and experience the server during the testing period.
The beta would take place on the main CSLRP server rather than on a separate temporary testing server.
Possible Beta Window
Should the beta be approved, the current expectation is that it could begin within approximately two months.
This is only an estimated window and not a confirmed beta date.
Before opening the server, the team wants the majority of its systems to be ready. The intention is to test the complete experience rather than release a limited demonstration containing only a few finished features.
What Would Be Tested?
The beta would primarily focus on:
- General server performance
- Loading speeds and responsiveness
- Stability with more players online
- Bugs within gameplay systems
- Unexpected interactions between resources
- Possible exploits
- Department functionality
- The overall player experience
Internal testing can identify many issues, but it cannot fully reproduce how a larger community will use the server.
A public beta would provide valuable information about how CSLRP performs when many different systems are being used simultaneously.
A final decision will be announced after the internal discussion has been completed.
